Request and Stubbornness: The political situation in Maharashtra has reached a climax. So far 37 disgruntled MLAs have been in the Eknath Shinde camp. They are staying at a hotel in Guwahati in Assam. Their demand is that the Shiv Sena leave the Mahavikas alliance and form an alliance with the BJP. The Shiv Sena had said, “If the Shiv Sena wants to withdraw from the Mahavikas alliance, the disgruntled MLAs must first come to Mumbai, after which the Shiv Sena will definitely consider withdrawing from the Mahavikas alliance.”
