I had a strange feeling I’d won $60million lottery jackpot – then I answered the phone to be told told the good news
A DAD had a strange feeling he had won a $60million lottery jackpot – then he answered the phone to be told the good news.
The lucky Aussie father claimed the entire Powerball division one jackpot today.
The Canberra man bought tickets in the Powerball draw 1363 but didn’t bother to look when his winning numbers – 22, 6, 1, 16, 17, 29 and 11, and the Powerball 2 – came up.
He found out when he got a call from lottery officials and allegedly picked up on the first ring, according to 9news.
“Are you serious?” he was said to have told the caller from The Lott when he heard the life-changing news.
“I’m laughing. I’m lost for words. I’m pacing around. I can’t believe it.
